ATV registration
In Maine, you are allowed to register a dual sport motorcycle for street use with a license plate, and also register it as an ATV at your town office for legal access to the ATV trail system. As of 2019, the ATV registration/sticker is $46 for Maine residents ($91 for non-residents).
NOTE: there are trails and property owners that allow ATVs, but do not allow motorcycles. Please respect the access rules – the more the property owners get annoyed, the fewer trails we have to ride.
